About Truett McConnell College Sports Camps
Athletic Mission Statement
1 Corinthians 9:24 says, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.” Truett McConnell College’s Department of Athletics is committed to winning in four phases: discipleship, academics, service to others, and athletic performance.
Truett McConnell Mission Statement and Core Values: The mission of Truett McConnell College is to equip students to fulfill the Great Commission by fostering a Christian worldview through a biblically centered education.
Christ-Centered Commitment: The College aspires to being distinctively Christian through the entire institution, from the classroom to the residence hall, and from the chapel to the athletic field.
Quality Academic Program: TMC’s academic program takes place in an environment where the diverse demands of a liberal arts education find common ground in studies taught by instructors who understand their disciplines from a Christian worldview.
Caring Christian Community: Community development is encouraged through programs that enhance the physical, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being of the individual student. These programs include intramurals and athletics.
