Mike Moroney - Extra Innings Instructor

Mike was an All-Star pitcher at Salem State College and currently plays in the NSBL. He serves as the lead pitching instructor at Extra Innings and is an expert on the fundamentals of pitching and throwing. Mike is also the Director of the Pro Shop at Extra Innings and is available for private pitching lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

 

Zak Levine - Extra Innings Instructor

From Beverly, Coach Levine played his college ball at Emerson College where he earned GNAC All-Tournament Team honors. Zak graduated as the Lions career leader in Strike-outs, Wins and Playoff Wins. He started his coaching career as an assistant with the Firebirds Baseball program in 2006 before joining the Legends Baseball coaching staff in 2007-2008. Zak was selected as an Intercity League All-Star during his time with the Reading Bulldogs and is now coaching his first year with Rivals Baseball.

Afton Dean - Extra Innings Instructor

Afton was a 4 year softball starter at Lynn Classical High School. She was a 3-time Northeastern Conference All-star at shortstop and Conference MVP her senior year. Afton continued her softball career at Division II Bentley University. She played for three years and saw action as both a middle infielder and outfielder. Afton is available for private hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

Billy O’Donnell - Extra Innings Instructor

Billy completed his High School career at St. John’s Prep and was a conference starter his senior year as a lefty pitcher. He was then recruited by Franklin Pierce to pitch however, Billy transferred to Castleton State College in Vermont where his team reached the Regional’s for the first time. Billy has also pitched and played for Keene State College, NH and Salem State University in MA. Billy is available for private pitching, hitting and fielding Lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

Mike Scaramellino - Extra Innings Instructor

Mike was a team captain at Dover High School in New York as a pitcher and middle infielder. After graduating, Mike continued to play at Fitchburg State University as a pitcher and reliever for four years. Mike is now available for private hitting and pitching lessons as Extra Innings Middleton.

Allison Cousins - Extra Innings Instructor

After pitching for the D1 Leominster High School softball team, Allison attended Fitchburg State University where she was the starting pitcher for all 4 years. Allison was also captain of the FSU Falcons and currently holds four top ten all time career pitching records at the University! Allison is available for private softball pitching lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.

Paige Licata - Extra Innings Instructor

Paige was the starting shortstop on the Revere High School Varsity softball team for 4 years. During her high school career she was an NEC Allstar and Boston Globe All Scholastic Athlete. She was selected as captain of the softball, field hockey, and basketball teams during both her junior and senior years. Paige then went on to play Division II softball at Assumption College as a middle infielder. While there she helped propel the team to two NCAA Championships and one NE-10 Conference Title. This spring will be Paige's second season as the assistant coach for the Revere High Varsity Softball team who clenched the Division 1 North State Championship last year. Paige is available for hitting and fielding instruction at Extra Innings in Middleton.

Brian White - Extra Innings Instructor

Originally from Windham NH, Brian graduated from Salem High School in 2007. He was awarded NH Class L second and first team honors in 2006 and 2007 respectively. In 2007, while batting .357, with 30 RBIs and 3 home runs, Brian led the Blue Devils to a 21-1 record and earned NH Baseball Gatorade Player of the Year as well as Louisville Slugger NH Player of the Year. Brian played with the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen in 2008 and 2009 under Coach Scott Loiseau and also ran cross country at SNHU in 2009 and 2010. Brian graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2011 with a degree in Hospitality Management. He was hired by Windham High School in 2011 to coach the junior varsity baseball team. Currently, he is in his 5th season with the Windham Jaguars. Additionally, Brian was recently elected to the Salem High School Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Brian is available for catching, hitting and fielding lessons.

Dave Allie - Extra Innings Instructor

David was a High School Pitcher and Captain for the Danvers Varsity Baseball team. He continued his playing career as a Pitcher for Westfield State University.(1999-2001) David began his coaching career as an Assistant for the Danvers Varsity Baseball team, including winning a State Championship in 2001.(1999-2003) He was a Head Coach for the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders Freshman Girls softball team.(2005-2008) He eventually moved on to become the Head Coach for the Danvers Girls Junior Varsity Softball Team.(2012) David has been a coach for many youth baseball clinics including former Red Sox player Mike Andrew's baseball camp and Roger Day's Baseball Camps.(1995-2000) He is currently an Extra Innings Fall League Baseball Coach.(2012-2014) David is available for private hitting and pitching lessons at Extra Innings in Middleton.
